This is the order of operations from first contact to starting work. Follow it every time so the quote is accurate and nothing gets priced blind.

    Client reaches out with a project description

    Ask clarifying questions (references, files, scope, timeline, brand assets)

    Client provides references and uploads files to Google Drive

    Verify the Drive link works and is unrestricted

    Review all files and confirm total footage length

    Run the Subjectivity Testis anything left to interpretation?

    If yes, ask more questions. If no, send the quote.

    Send the disclaimer message with the offer

    Client accepts the offer and submits the requirements form

    Begin work

Never give a number until you understand the project
  • Don't give a price until you've seen the files and references
  • Don't give a range until you understand the scope

If pushed: "I want to give you an accurate number, not a guess. Once I see [files/references/answers], I'll send the offer same day."
