Quoting & Pricing
The Quoting Process

This is the order of operations from first contact to starting work. Follow it every time so the quote is accurate and nothing gets priced blind.

At a glance, the path from first contact to starting work looks like this:
#Step-by-Step
- 1Client reaches out with a project description
- 2Ask clarifying questions (references, files, scope, timeline, brand assets)
- 3Client provides references and uploads files to Google Drive
- 4Verify the Drive link works and is unrestricted
- 5Review all files and confirm total footage length
- 6Run the Subjectivity Testis anything left to interpretation?
- 7If yes, ask more questions. If no, send the quote.
- 8Send the disclaimer message with the offer
- 9Client accepts the offer and submits the requirements form
- 10Begin work
#Never Quote Blind
Never give a number until you understand the project
- Don't give a price until you've seen the files and references
- Don't give a range until you understand the scope
If pushed: "I want to give you an accurate number, not a guess. Once I see [files/references/answers], I'll send the offer same day."
